Friday, January 24, 2025: Remembering John Poole on his journey -- by Hermine Glaser



On September 27. 2024 I visited John Poole together with Alice Waco.
I brought my “Benediction Herbal Flower Oil (Biodynamic)” along and ask him in the end of the visit, if I can bless him with it and told him what I like to do and he said YES!


So I put some of that special oil on my finger and made a cross on his forehead and spoke my blessing for his next journey.

I also had a flower essential oil with me with the name “Fear-Less”, that should help when challenged by fear, anxiety or panic.

I said: “You don’t look like you are fearful, but if you want; I spray a little around you just in case”. He nodded Yes!

At the end I asked him, if I could take a photo of him and so I got this loving smile from him and that is how I like to remember John Poole, who loved Paramahasa Yogananda, like I do. He surprised all of us, that he still made it to his birthday, what my wish was also for him, because He mentioned this desire!


Alice’s text, that John had died, popped up, just when I was amazed about a beautiful sunrise from the airline from Santa Rosa to Palm Springs, after 7 am on December 23. 2024

I imagined John’s soul raising up, flying toward the light, like the airplane did.

That was also my prayer and later he was remembered by Jerry and me many times and we were so grateful for all who helped him to close his life with dignity.

I also enjoyed last Sunday’s gathering at his living community on Sonoma Avenue where he lived for many years. Maria led the celebration of life for John. She explained her friendship with John and talked about her goodbye to him as he began to pass.



She performed Raiki and John looked so peaceful. He was ready. It was there where I heard from many people, who were touched by John, which included Scout, a special friend of mine. Nick, who cared for John after Dan Vrooman spoke about John and then John and Steve. Nick, John’s daily caregiver spoke as did Dan and Steve. It was a simple and beautiful remembrance.

 Saturday, February 1, 2025: Announcement about Bill Boorman (Sir Will) Victoria just called and explained that Bill Boorman is in his transitional phase. He's no longer eating or drinking. He's still mentally sharp but is having great difficulty communicating.
