Could you please send a reminder with today's blog post that I'd like to know who is coming to the retreat on April 25th?  I haven't heard from many people.  Directions for responding: Please send Mary a quick email or text by tomorrow - Friday the 27th, or a soon as you can. That would be most helpful in our preparations for this day of reflection. 

The retreat will also be offered on zoom for those who can't physically attend.  Even if you think you may attend on Zoom please let Mary know. Thank you!

Denise Dixon will be at the North End of the Junior College parking circle at 2:30 to lead our Emmaus folks. You can find her because she'll be wearing a florescent orange Hat (sorry no oragne in this color palette - have to use pink...)

Dear Sisters and Brothers of Emmaus: On Monday Linda, Marcie and David visited with Lindsey Kerr, the Pastor of Christ Church Methodist in Santa Rosa in order to assess whether moving to Christ Church for our liturgies would be advantageous for all of us at Emmaus. Many of us have worked with Lindsey and consider her to be an excellent leader who is courageous and energetic. We received a warm welcome from Lindsey who showed us around Christ Church and opened the room in which we may meet. It’s not in the church – but an unused classroom that’s part of the larger set of buildings in the complex.  The room has space enough for us, lots of windows and some storage. Saturday, August 2, 2025: Need Emmaus help with a Hunger Strike: (Please share this information and request for good trouble) Here's a copy of the email I sent out to my congregation to boost participation. I've also attached the latest flyer. Please feel free to modify/copy/steal this language however you see fit.
